Alan has been with FordArtWorks since the beginning. He rose from humble beginnings (making the tea) to become top man here.
B.Sc. (First Class) and Ph.D. in physiology and biophysics (Vision) at Glasgow University.
Post Doctoral research at Manchester University Dept. of Computing. Three research papers on parallel architectures.
25 years software design and coding experience: primarily Java and C++. Specialization - Graphical User Interface
Clients include Glaxo, EMI, Nomura, Xerox, Merrill Lynch, Siemens (Roke Manor), Unilever.
