Differences between SourcesPro and SourcesLite
- SourcesLite restricts the output image you can create to be 750 pixels on the long side or the screen size, whichever is less. The same restrictions apply to animation/rendering, SourcesPro can produce high quality output files up to 4000 pixels on a side - ideal for large scale printing. The maximum size depends on the capabilities of your Android device.
- SourcesLite allows no rendering or animation optimizations. This leads to noticeably poorer output files.
- SourcesLite does not allow Smooth Sweep mode. This can have a big effect with high zooms.
- SourcesLite does not support Functions and Function Factors on sources - sources are restricted to straight lines and circles/ellipses. Functions add greatly to the range of possible images you can create.
- SourcesLite supports 3 levels of undo/redo compared to the 50 in SourcesPro. Due to the exploratory, “what-if” nature of using Sources the large undo/redo stack is a big advantage.
- SourcesPro allows you to restrict the start and end position of sources and the sharpness of the transitions.
- None of the SourcesWP live wallpaper functionality is available in SourcesLite. SourcesWP is a free app with many built-in wallpapers, but to modify them or to create your own (which are a load of fun in themselves), SourcesPro is required.
